Peter Knapp

Peter Knapp, 61, husband of Brenda Burt Knapp, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from a brief illness.


Born in Winterthur, Switzerland, Peter was the son of the late Maximilian and Edith Knapp. He emigrated to the United States in 1977, eventually meeting and marrying Brenda in 1983. Peter worked for Rieter Corp., and was presently proprietor of Peter’s Clock Shop.


Peter is survived by his wife, Brenda; two daughters, Shelly, wife of Kevin Riddle and Stefanie, wife of Richard Yoon; two grandsons, Jackson Riddle and Miles Yoon;  a son, Sebastian Knapp; a brother, Michael Knapp, husband of Jacqueline; a niece, Jenny; a nephew, Cedric; a sister, Ursula Boufis. He is survived by his cousin, Peter Schulz, husband of Brigitte. He is also survived by other loving family members.

The family will have a private celebration of his life at a later date.
