Peggy Jo Whitlowe, 86, left this earth for happier days that never end, with Jesus Christ on June 5th 2024.
She was born in Greenville SC to the late Samuel Bennett and Lilly Nimmons-Bennett. Peggy graduated from Parker High School in 1955, Peggy also retired from Michelin Tire Corporation in 1994.
More than anything else, Peggy loved animals, flowers, and her family and friends. She became a second mother and grandmother to many over the years.
She is survived by her sister Mary Bennett-Thomas, her son and his wife, Steve and Shirley Whitlowe, a granddaughter and her husband Cynthia Whitlowe-Owens and Jeremy Owens, great grandchildren Jacob and Natalie Owens, along with many nieces and nephews but Betty Graham and Martha Tucker in particular.
She was predeceased in death by both of her parents, and three sisters (Jesse, Betty, Hazel) her husband Jewell, and son Joe.
A graveside gathering will be held @ Graceland West at a date to be determined later.
