Paul Randy Vaughn, 65, of Greenville, died after a 7-month battle with brain cancer on December 23, 2015. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Paul Jones and Loree Cannon Vaughn and was the husband of Cassandra Gibson Vaughn. He was an employee of The Fresh Market for 10 years. Before that, he worked at the Winn Dixie Distribution Center in Taylor's SC for 35 years.
He was predeceased by his mother & father. Surviving are his wife, of the home; one daughter, Leslie Vaughn Miller (Wesley) of Noblesville, IN; five sons, Brandon Hudson (Shanna) of Anderson, Quinten Brantley of the home, Dustin Brantley (Ashley) of Anderson, Jackson Brantley (Natasha) of Greenville, Steven Vaughn of the home; a sister, Judy Stepp (Wayne) of Traveler's Rest; three grandsons, whom he adored, Greyson, Brayden, and Blake; and his loyal hound dog, Ralph, who remained by his bedside until he passed.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Park Place Church of God (221 Orders St, Greenville, SC 29609) conducted by the Reverend Terry L. Sherfield. The family is at the residence (26 N. Garden Cir, Greenville, SC 29615) and will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm on Saturday at the Church before the service.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorials be made to The Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Avenue Greenville, SC 29605.
