Patsy Jean Totherow

June 12, 1937 — November 11, 2022

Patsy Jean Totherow went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 11, 2022. She is survived by her daughter Kay Davis; grandchildren Hope Agee (Scott), Nicole Compton (Adam), Jennifer Bridges (Marty), Elizabeth Pruitt (Matt), and William Davis (Julie); great-grandchildren Valerie Agee (Bobo), Kady Compton, Seth Compton, Caleb Ledford, Bobby Bridges, Noah Bridges, J.C. Herron, Lawson Pruitt, and Ryleigh Davis; and great-great-grandchild Tinsley Burgess; her beloved dog Jax; and a multitude of extended family and friends.

Patsy made friends easily, and was someone that anyone could turn to for advice, or just a friendly ear to listen. Her pleasant and kind demeanor put others at ease, no matter what the situation was. She was the matriarch of her family, the glue that held everyone together. Patsy loved music, especially southern gospel. She loved to sing, both solo and in the choir. She also enjoyed reading.

Patsy was a devoted Christian of the Pentecostal faith for her entire life. She was a lifelong resident of Greenville, SC where she met many great friends over the years. Patsy took pride in her job at Hamrick’s, where she worked for over 20 years. She considered her Hamrick’s coworkers to be her second family.
