Patrick LaVaughn Ramsey

Patrick Lavaughn Ramsey, 74, of Greenville, SC, passed away on January 23, 2022. He was the son of the late Bonson Hood Ramsey and the late Fuschia Pearl Bryan, in Greenville, TN, on February 19, 1947. Patrick is survived by his children: Robert Ramsey (Sarah) and Gabrielle Hernandez ( Alberto Hernandez Jr); sister Joyce Ramsey( Bob Burns) of Asheville. NC; grandchildren: Samantha Carmack, James Hyman III, Tony Guthrie II, Haylie Guthrie, Samantha Adams, Christyann Hernandez, and Lindsey Lewis; and seven great-grandchildren. He served his country proudly in the Marines from 1968-1972 during the Vietnam War and eight years in the Air Force Reserve 1978-1986. Patrick was employed with Steele Heddle for forty years in Industrial maintenance. He served as the local Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 523 President. He attended Brookwood Church in Simpsonville, SC. Patrick may have left his worldly body but he will be forever in the hearts of the ones he left behind. A Celebration of Life will be held at Brookwood Church, Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 2:00 PM, 580 Brookwood Point Pl, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
