Patricia L. Smith, affectionately known as Pat, passed away peacefully on
November 15, 2023, in her hometown of Greenville, SC. Born on January 19,
1938, to the late Willard Edwards and Willie Mae Sullivan Edwards.
Pat was a beacon of love, selflessness, and generosity throughout her 85 years of life.

Pat was a proud graduate of Parker High School. Her upbringing laid the
foundation for her lifelong commitment to family and friends. Pat was a
member of West Gantt First Baptist Church and loved and served her Lord
and Savior.

Pat was a loving wife to her husband, Ed Smith, for an incredible 66 years.
Their enduring love story was a testament to their shared values of
commitment, understanding, and mutual respect. Together, they raised two
sons, who inherited their mothers spirit of generosity and selflessness.

Pat was predeceased by her sister, Betty Kimbell.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ed; her sons, Daniel (Donna)
and David; and her brother, Johnny Edwards (Brenda). Each of them carries a
piece of Pats loving spirit, ensuring her legacy lives on.

Pat's life was a testament to the power of love, generosity, and selflessness.
She touched countless lives with her kindness and left an indelible mark on
everyone she met. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family,
friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

In remembering Pat, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by unwavering
faith, boundless love, and selfless service. Her spirit will continue to inspire
and guide us, reminding us of the beauty of a life lived in service to her Lord
and others. Patricia L. Smith, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, will be
deeply missed but never forgotten.
