Patricia Eileen McCann

Patricia Eileen McCann, passed away in Greenville, SC on August 25, 2016 from her battle with cancer at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband, Harold Kain of Greer, SC; her daughter, Deborah Coon of Chicago, IL and her step-sons, Steven Kain of Sheffield, MA and Brian Kain of McDonough, GA. She was a native of Chemung, NY and the daughter of Joseph Patrick and Wilma McCann.

Patricia received an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BA from the State University of New York in Buffalo.

As a professional executive, she was very successful and held senior level positions in numerous companies and locations. She was highly respected for her ability to help companies and people accomplish their goals and was a great example of a management style which encouraged success and happiness. Recently, a manager who worked with her for more than 25 years ago, said that she was the best boss he has ever had.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, she loved to travel, both domestically and internationally. She visited countries like England, Ireland, Wales, Italy and Portugal. Last year in April, a river cruise was taken on the Danube from Germany to Hungary. Pat also loved planting and growing flowers, bushes and trees. To expand her knowledge, she attended and graduated from the Clemson Extension SC Master Gardner Program which allowed her to work more effectively in one of her favorite endeavor. She was loved deeply and will be missed greatly.
