Patricia B. Crawford

February 3, 1956 — December 21, 2024

Pelzer, SC

Patricia B. Crawford, known affectionately as Trish to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, at the age of 68, in her hometown of Pelzer, South Carolina, surrounded by the love of her family and the memories of a life joyously lived. Born on February 3, 1956, to the late Charles Boyce and Penny Shular, Trish was a beacon of warmth and kindness, whose radiant smile and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Trish was the cherished sister to Barbara Ellison and her husband Phillip, Rendy Kirwan and her husband Jim, and she held dear the memory of her late sister Wanda Jordan and her late brother Eddie Boyce. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she took immense pride in the accomplishments and happiness of her many nieces and nephews, who will remember her as a second mother and a guiding light.

A woman of numerous passions and talents, Trish found solace in the simple pleasures of life. Her artistic soul found expression through her painting and drawing, capturing the beauty of the South Carolina landscapes and the quiet moments of everyday life. Trish's love of storytelling was indulged through her enjoyment of TV movies, with a special fondness for the magic and joy of Christmas movies. Her adventurous spirit shone through her love of camping, where she could be found sitting by the campfire, under the stars, sharing stories and laughter with her special good long-time friend, Harry Ragsdale.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Trish would describe her as loving, thoughtful, and kind. She approached every person she met with an open heart and a readiness to help, listen, and support. Trish's thoughtful nature extended beyond her immediate circle, as she was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need, whether friend or stranger.

Trish's legacy is one of love and kindness, a testament to the way she lived her life and the countless hearts she touched. Her presence was a gift, and though her physical absence will be deeply felt, the memories she created with those she loved will forever be cherished and celebrated.

As we bid farewell to Patricia B. Crawford, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared with her, for the lessons she taught us, and for the love she gave so freely. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, reminding us to live with compassion, to cherish our loved ones, and to find beauty in the world around us.

Special thanks to Interim Hospice and the South Greenville Fire Department
