Pamela ‘Pam’ Kamenski was a woman who loved people and life. She was a loving mother and a devoted wife of 39 (very nearly 40) years. She was born in Arlington, Virginia and was raised in near-by Springfield, Va. Pam enjoyed meeting new people with her outgoing personality, she quickly made lasting friendships wherever life took her. She had an exceptionally strong work ethic and began her career by working part time as an administrative assistant at the Pentagon before graduating from high school. She worked in many fields throughout her life, including IT, mortgage banking, property management, human resources, and retail. Her exceptional people and administrative skills enabled her to rapidly rise to management roles in these varied industries. Pam lived for most of her life in the metropolitan Washington, DC area, and moved to Greenville, South Carolina, only after her husband’s passing. In her earlier years, Pam enjoyed taking getaways to the Virginia countryside. She was the most avid Washington Redskins fan you ever met and an active participant in internet-based Redskin fan groups. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, crocheting, doing word searches, taking in the latest movies, and visiting with friends and family. She leaves behind five children: Edward Kamenski (New York), Susan Williams Woody (California), John DiCarlo (California), Whitney Brletic (California), and Jenna Kamenski (South Carolina), as well as a sister-in-law, Susan Kamenski (Virginia).
