Norma L. Legere

Our beloved mother Norma L Legere of 84 years, passed away on June 29, 2016. Her husband, J Leo Legere of 59 years, passed on September 10, 2014. She is survived by her sister Barbara Lewis and her brother Ronald Lewis and her sons, daughters and spouses, Sandy Legere, Duane Legere and wife Shari, Kevin Legere and husband Walter, Brent Legere and wife Theresa, Robyn Legere, and Traci Bouis and husband Greg. She leaves behind her grandchildren Joshua Neal, Casey Neal, Brandon Neal, Troy Legere, Sarah Legere, Kory Hart, Shannon Hart, Nathan Bouis and Claire Bouis and four great grandchildren. She will be missed and ever loved by her family and friends, and from the choir and congregation of Grace Church Episcopal, and her Easley Does It group.

She was a wonderful woman with a great heart, a kind spirit, was quick with a joke, and always with a ready smile for everyone she met. She had a strong spirit and always said exactly what she was thinking no matter who was listening. She passionately discussed politics, religion and society at large with equal vigor and always had a firm opinion on every topic. May she ever have her diamond tiara that's fit for a queen.

A Memorial service will be held on 11am, Saturday, July 9th at Grace Episcopal Church, 711 S McDuffie St, Anderson, SC 29624. Her cremains will be buried next to her husband at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington VA at a time to be determined later.
