Nicholus Gene Moon, affectionately known as Nick, was a beacon of love, intelligence, and selflessness. Born on November 29, 1980, in Greenville, South Carolina, Nick's life was a testament to his innate kindness and unwavering dedication to his family, work, and passion. His journey on this earth came to an end on August 26, 2023, in Clinton, South Carolina, where he succumbed to pancreatic cancer after a long and brave battle. Nick was pre-deceased by his mother and father Deborah Jean Cummings and Barry Gene Moon,. Nick was survived in the home by his devoted and loving wife Nicole Moon, his cherished daughter Embree Rose Moon and his two step – sons D. J. and Cory. He is also survived by his three oldest daughters Makayla, Madalin, Marrissa and one granddaughter Everleigh. He leaves behind his brothers Matthew Moon, Billy Moon, and Steven Moon along with a very special cousin Angela Chapman. Nick had many families and friends that he loved so much, too many to mention, he really did make an impact on so many people in the best possible way. He was an exceptional electrician for over 20 years, he was hard working never expected anything from anyone but would do anything for anyone he cared for, and he always took care of his family! He was also a wonderful cook, the best husband a woman could ever ask for, the kindest and most loving father, he loved the Clemson Tigers, watching movies and shows on his big screen TV, a music lover, his favorite meal was as a big pot of spaghetti, he was the happiest at home and he loved with his whole heart, and he was a true friend! His personality was bigger than life and his smile and laugh was infectious. He was the strongest in mind, body, and character, all the way to his last day he was a true fighter and he fought so hard against that terrible disease just to hang on a little while longer for his girls. He had the heart of a true warrior, he will be missed and cherished as a great guy who everyone liked and was loved by many. Always remembered and Never Forgotten, forever in our hearts is where he will live, we love you Nick!
Please come and show him some love one last time. His Services will be held on September 1, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel at Cremation Society of SC-Westville Funerals located at 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29611.
