Nedra June Gardner, born of Samuel Furman Robertson and Fannie Mae Dillashaw on September 15, 1931, was called home by our Lord on July 15, 2023. A woman of unparalleled kindness, she was a beacon of love and selflessness, touching the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Nedra June was a cherished member of George's Creek Baptist Church, where she served her community with unwavering devotion. She found joy in spreading the word of the Lord and in the fellowship of her church family.
She was preceded in the journey to the heavenly realm by her beloved husband, Ray Gardner, two sons, and five siblings. Yet, her spirit lives on through her surviving children, Curtis Gardner and his fiance Lisa Bown, and Donna (McCree) Staton.
In the face of sorrow, we rejoice in the knowledge that Nedra June has found eternal peace. She was a woman of faith, a pillar of strength, and a source of infinite love. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, as we remember her kindness, love, and selfless spirit.
The family wishes to thank her caregiver Beth, whom she loved very much. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in her loving memory to be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
