He shared a beautiful and loving marriage with his wife, Cheri (Linton) Nowend, and together they raised two wonderful children, Keri (Nowend) Tabb and Mathew Nowend. Neal's role as a grandfather to Kaitlyn Nowend was one of his greatest joys, and he embraced every moment with her with the same enthusiasm and love that he did with all his family.
Professionally, Neal was a talented kitchen designer, a savvy real estate investor, and a successful business owner.
