Nancy June Lemmons, 86, daughter of the late Annie and Vivlian Lemmons, passed away in Greenville on March 11, 2024. She was predeceased by her sisters, Louise Brooks and Margaret Gettys Robbs. She was also predeceased by her brother David Mac Lemmons. Nancy is survived by a brother, Benny Lemmons, and sister-in-law, Judy of Greenville. Nieces Lorrie Morris and Gay Guthrie of Gaffney, Gina Cornick Baicy of Raleigh, Anissa Lemmons of Hammond LA, and Mary Beth Young of Greenville, and nephew Hal Brooks of Greenville.
A graduate of Gaffney High School, Nancy continued her education at Robison Business School. Nancy was a legal secretary in Spartanburg for many years. Heaven will be much sweeter now with Annie and Nancy making all their homemade candies in the kitchen. Louise will be supervising and Margaret will be refereeing the arguments between Nancy and Mac. At her ankles will be her baby canines Pepper and Priss, begging for attention and treats. She had an undying love for her animals. She will always be in our minds and our hearts.
A Gravesite service will be held at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery, Gaffney, SC April 5 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd. Spartanburg.
