Morris "Mushy" Wayne Gillespie

Morris "Mushy" Wayne Gillespie, 58, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his home. Born in Anderson County, SC on November 8, 1957, he was the son of Franklin Dewitt Gillespie and Lola Louise Whitt Gillespie. He was retired from G&I Corporation and a veteran of the US Army. Survivors include: Father, Franklin Gillespie; daughter, Erica Gillespie; daughter-in-law, Nicole Gillespie; and three grandchildren, (Bella, Chandler and Kingston) of Williamston, SC. He was predeceased by his mother, Lola Louise Whitt Gillespie. A private ceremony will be announced at a later date, following his cremation. The family will be at their respective homes. The family would like to express their appreciation to Hospice of the Upstate (Rainey Hospice House) for their care and support.
