Monica Basham (Lynn), aged 56, of Greenville, SC passed away and was reunited with her Saviour at 8:02 PM on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She passed under the excellent care of the doctors and nurses of St Francis Hospital CCU in Greenville, SC. Lynn was born on March 20, 1964, in Mattoon, II. She was the cherished daughter of Richard Wayne and Ninetta Jean(Hendren) Basham. She is survived by her brother Daniel (Jennifer) of Worthington, PA, she much loved niece and nephew: Karyss (Ryan) Jack of Fredericton, NB, Canada and Riley of Worthington, PA, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Douglas Wayne Basham. Lynn most recently worked for Pickens County Department of Social Services, a job she was really enjoying. Prior to that Lynn had worked for 21 years as a nurse with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Greenville Memorial Hospital. Lynn was an active member of Grace Bible Church of Greenville, SC. Lynn had a great love for children. This was evidenced by her exceptional care of “Her babies” and their families at the NICU. She also was an “honorary aunt” to countless children (and young adults) throughout the Greenville area. She loved horses, stamping, card making, all things political, and her Chicago Cubs.
Above everything else, her heartbeat with love for her niece,
Karyss and nephew Riley. She adored them both and treasured time with them above everything.

Taylors, SC, or to the charity of choice.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 9th at 3 PM at Grace Bible Church. Visitation will be from 1 - 3 PM.
