Michelle Warday Gantt, 47, of Greenville, passed away, January 23, 2018 while in Wilmington, North Carolina from complications of the flu. Born on June 13, 1970 in Charlotte, North Carolina to her parents, Ronald J. Warday and Sharon L. ( Andrews ) Warday, she had lived in the upstate since the age of 8 and she worked many jobs, but mostly as a customer service representative in the restaurant and retail industries. She was an avid reader of Anne Rice Novels. She sang in the Annual Rotary Club Singing Christmas Tree at Christmas Time in Greenville. She was the Recipient of the South Carolina Lieutenant Governer’s Essay Award. She enjoyed going camping and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a good hearted person, she was very giving to the people who struggled with addiction and will be fondly remembered for her efforts in promoting recovery. Most of all she will be remembered for her flair of being a unique spirit.
Michelle is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Minnie Alma Andrews of Kannapolis, North Carolina. Those who will most cherish her memory are her daughters, Amy Nemeth of Mauldin, South Carolina and Ansley Nemeth of Mauldin, South Carolina; her parents, Ron and Sharon Warday of Greenville; her aunt, Marlene Howard and her husband, Wendell of Kannapolis, North Carolina and her cousins, Kirk Howard and his wife, Carmen of Harrisburg, North Carolina and Ashton Howard and his wife, Emily of Charlotte.
