Michael Tim Smith

Michael Tim Smith, 61, of Woodruff, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025. Born on September 8, 1963, Michael was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Sherry, and his step-sons, Chris (Amber) Bledsoe and Richard (Stephanie) Bledsoe. He was a proud grandfather to Kelsey Moore (Bledsoe), Austin Bledsoe, Haley Finley (Eskew), Savannah Eskew, Camden Bledsoe, Emma Bledsoe, Landon Bledsoe, and Jackson Bledsoe. He had two great-granddaughters, Baylor Bledsoe and Adaline Finley. Michael was also preceded in death by his faithful companion, his dog, Rocky.

A man of many talents, Michael had a deep passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time in his garden. He had a natural gift for storytelling, often filling rooms with laughter through his jokes. His warmth, humor, and easy-going nature made him a friend to many and a cherished member of his family.

Though Michael will be remembered for his love of nature and his ability to bring joy to those around him, it is his kind heart and infectious sense of humor that will leave a lasting legacy.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his memory will live on in the stories he told and the laughter he shared.

A memorial service on Sunday, April 27th, 2025 starting at 1 PM. Location will be at Heather's home.
