Michael Darin James

Michael Darin James AKA "Pittsburgh" lost his battle with cancer on February 21, 2023. He was born in Darlington, SC in 1965 but lived most of his life in Greenville, SC. He is predeceased by his mother: Dollie James and survived by his father Ray James. He is also predeceased by a son: Jesse James and survived by children: Jacob James, Justin James, and Jillian James; and brothers: Tony James and Ray James Jr. Darin was an avid sports fan and there was no doubt who his favorite team was ( Gold + Black). He was an outstanding athlete and played football and baseball for West Gantt and at Southside High.
He was outspoken and never met a stranger and according to his mom, he was just like his maternal grandfather Paul Maner of Ansonville, NC.

A private memorial service will be held in a later date.
