Michael Dean Harmon

Michael Dean Harmon, born on May 28, 1948 in Lebanon Ohio, passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 76, in his home in Taylors, surrounded by family.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor Berrey Harmon, and cherished children, Kimberly Harmon (Josh), Jennifer Alewine, Will Mitchell, Michael Harmon Jr. (Emily), Eleanor Black (Caleb), Virginia Smith (Logan), nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, a sister, Marlene Sizemore (Boyce), and brother, Mark Harmon (Donna).

Michael will be remembered as a man who was content, able to enjoy the simple things of life. He found joy in watching nature, reading, and encouraging marriages in ministry. He was an example of forgiveness and mercy to many.

Friends and family will remember Michael as a man of God, who walked through life with gentleness and humility. 

He was a calm presence and quiet teacher, leading by example.

As we say farewell to Michael Dean Harmon, we celebrate a life lived with purpose. We take comfort in knowing that he is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Though his life has reached its earthly end, it will continue to resonate in the lives of those he touched.
