Melody "Angel" Gipson

Melody Angel Gipson, 57, of Taylors died unexpectedly in her home due to complications from diabetes. She is survived by three children, Nichola Jordan (Dale), Talon Decker (Chris), and Andrew Gipson; their father, Travis Gipson; five grandchildren that she loved dearly, Micah and Natalie Jordan, Cody Gipson, and CJ and Icelynn Decker, and her siblings, Richard Moore (Tracy), Terri Lincoln, and Gigi Clements.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Gail Moore, her baby sister, Martina Casey, and the love of her life Kirkland "Kirk" Dodson.

Angel was an extremely loved and long-time employee of Just One More Sports Bar. There, she led many charity benefits for Shriners Hospital, and for anyone else that was in need. Her efforts raised thousands of dollars for good causes. She was selfless and would give anyone the shirt off her back - she once even shaved her head to help a friend. Known for her cooking, Angel was loved and will be missed very much by all of the people that she "almost liked".
