MayBelle Stanley Panther Collins went home to meet Jesus on July 28, 2017 after a brief stay in the Rainey Hospice House of Anderson. She lived with her niece Libby and her husband Sidney of 105 Robin Circle Starr, S.C. She moved from Lakeland, Florida via Arlington Texas last year.
She was one of ten (10) children born to George Thomas Stanley and Maude Alex Bueke. She was the last one to take her journey to Heaven. Oh what a reunion that must have been!
She was very involved with her church, serving as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was very devoted to both her church and her family. She joined Freedom Baptist Ministries when she moved here. Everyone lovingly called her Aunt MayBelle. Her smile always lit up the room.
She is survived by her two sons, Erich Richard Panther (Norma) of Lakeland Florida and Howard Edward Panther of Arlington Texas. Three grandchildren Kristen Panther Jepsen (Brett), Erich Norman Panther (Erica), and Andrew Travis Panther (Brittany). Three great grandchildren, Tyler, Bryce and Camden and many nieces and nephews .
A celebration of her life will be held 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Freedom Baptist Ministries. She loved her church, as per her request it will be during the morning service with Preacher Tony Tilley officiating. Entombment will be in Lakeland, Florida at a later date.
