Mary Anne Harris Stewart

Mary Anne Harris Stewart (78), passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Wednesday May 10, 2023.

Mary was born in Greenville, Sc. She was the last surviving child of four brothers Neil Floyd Gentry, Wayne Dwights Gentry, Carl William Gentry, and Micheal Gentry to the late Amos Elisha Gentry and Dorthy Leon Nix and a widower of Daniel Stewart. Predeceased before Mary was one niece Amosella Gentry, two nephews Bruice Franklin Harris and Ben- Jakin Gentry as well as her first husband Jessie Jay Harris of 30 years.

Mary retired as a millworker, and loved sewing, and crossword puzzles, she loved the history of her family.

She is survived by a son David Scott Harris (Dana) and a daughter Bonnie Lovenia Harris ( Robert). She also is survived by grandchildren Bradley Scott Harris (Ashley), Christopher Jacob-Blease Smith, Chandler Scott Harris, Erika Paige Harris, and Jeremiah Benjamin Jacob Wells. Mary had a special love for her five grandbabies Bailey Nichole Simmons, Ellisa Breanna Harris, Ryleigh Faith Harris, Chase Harris, and Chance Harris. Mary also leaves behind nieces she cherished and loved like her own. Fellcia Ann Harris, Leona Louise Gentry, and Shelia Elaine Gentry. And several great nieces and nephews.
