Mary Jean Heatherly

Mary Jean Heatherly, a beloved great grandmother, nanny, mother, and sister, was called home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2023. Mary was born on April 18, 1951, in Pelzer, South Carolina to the late Eugene Berry Kirby and Mary Geneva Richardson Kirby. Mary was loved by many. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Mary was a proud and loving mother to her daughter Melissa Cape Jump (Deborah) and her beloved pet Baxter. Mary was a loving grandmother to Amanda Nicole Rollins (Mike) and James Scott Jump. Mary had eight precious great grandchildren Nathan Isom III, Madison Isom, John Isom, Catherine Isom, Paul Rojas, Kason Jump, Clayton Jump Kenzie Jump. Mary was a cherished sister to Peggy Sue Cleveland (Ronnie) and Eugene Berry (Buddy) Kirby Jr. (Diane). She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Oscar Kirby and grandparents. Mary was a retired banquet manager in the hospitality industry.
