Mary Frances Buchanan
January 2, 1935 — April 18, 2023
Mary Frances Buchanan, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She is preceded in death by her son, Gary Buchanan, and her daughter Martha Gambrell. Mary is survived by her daughters, Patricia Buchanan, of Pendleton; and Kathy Bigby (Jr.) of Pelzer; seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Mary loved the Lord, and spent as much of her time as possible at church. She was a longtime member of Maranatha Baptist Church, in Easley, SC, where she made, and treasured, many friendships over the years. Mary loved music, especially gospel and country. She was a kind and giving soul - truly an angel among us. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her flower beds and spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren. Mary's grandchildren were her world. She leaves behind many friends and family to treasure her memory.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
