He was a cherished grandfather to Cheyanne (Jonathan) Coyle, Shelby Rich, Paisley Rich, and Eil Johnson. Ray also leaves behind his parents Benny Stewart and Nellie Stewart, his brother, Richard (Linda) Stewart. He was predeceased by his brother, Benny Stewart, and his great-granddaughter, McKinley Coyle. Ray's legacy will continue to live on through his great-grandsons, Stetson Coyle and Koen Rich.
Ray's educational journey led him to serve his country in the National Guard, a commitment he held in high regard. His professional life was dedicated to the paper industry, where he worked diligently at Hudson Pulp and Papermill and later at Georgia Pacific.
