Mrs. Martha Joyce Tolbert Coats, born October 20, 1933 died at Self Regional Health Center on June 3, 2022. She was born in White Hall to Roosevelt and Mary Martin Tolbert. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Ellis Coats, Sr.; her daughter, Iris Coats Towns; her grandson, Demetric Cowan, and her great-grandson, Devon Curry, and great-great-granddaughter, Kataleyn Childs. Visitors are being accepted at her home 4513 Cokesbury Road in Hodges and at her son’s home, Garrett Coats, 205 Beadle Ave in Greenwood, SC.
