Martha Garrett Hall, 76, passed away February 27, 2018 in Spartanburg SC. Martha was born, one of ten children, to the late Ted and Ellie Garrett of Pacolet SC. She graduated from Jonesville High School in 1959 before moving to Florida where she was employed by NASA. She later returned to South Carolina and married Donald R Hall in November of 1961 and was employed by Band and White Publishing as a proofreader.
Know affectionately as “Botch” to her family, she had a great love for her family and celebrated in all their accomplishments. She had many interests which include genealogy, botany, photography and a love for Jack Russell Terriers, Tennessee Walker Horses, books and the beach. But above all she was an artist.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Mac Garrett, Donnie Garrett, Ted Garrett Jr, and a sister, Brenda Garrett-Dorman. She is survived by her husband, Donald R Hall of Pacolet SC; siblings, Kenneth Garrett (Becky) of Pacolet SC, Frances Thomas of Inman SC, Jerry Garrett (Brenda Ann) of Pacolet SC, Tommy Garrett (Nancy) of Prosperty SC, Fred Garrett (Barbara) of Boiling Springs, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
