Martha Crowe Fowler Brown, 70, beloved wife of William “Bill” Brown, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2017.

She was born on August 24th, 1947 in Anderson County. She was the daughter of the late Cresswell Zachariah Crowe and Sallie Mae Kilby Crowe. She was a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church in Pickens.

Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons, Travis Fowler and Michael Fowler (Carissa), two step children Rhonda Grant (Jeff) and Sam Brown (Rebecca), nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Crowe (Frances); and sisters, Ann Howard (Tommy) and Lynda Kelley (Randy).

She is predeceased by sisters, Jean Duncan (Bill), Frances Adams (Charles); brothers, Lewis Crowe (Lucille), John Crowe (Becky).

Martha was a country girl. She enjoyed being down home on the farm or driving through the mountains. Most of her life centered around farming, family, and faith. She will be remembered for being kind, loving, and a good cook. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at Mountain Grove Baptist Church in Pickens, South Carolina on Sunday, November 26 at 3:00 pm.
