Mark Andrew Richardson

Mark Andrew Richardson, of Greenwood SC and formerly Harrisonburg VA, stepped into Glory on Oct. 16, 2023 at his home. He was the son of Billy Ray Richardson, George and Cliva Kane, who predeceased him. He was born Oct.11,1962 in Dayton OH. Mark is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol Wofford Richardson, children Andrew (Jonnie), Thomas (Bri), Hannah, Kaleb, Jacob, and Kirsten (Levi); grandchildren Knightly, Draeden, Denver Hope, and Kove Autumn; sister Amy Kane Smith (Matt), Uncle Mike Richardson (Nellie), Aunt Betty Agee (Bob), and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He graduated from James Madison University in 1986 and jumped into retail sales at Crutchfield in Charlottesville then Harrisonburg. He also held many other positions over the years to support his family, culminating at Greenwood YMCA.

Mark was an enigma of the highest degree. Smart, funny, strong, yet spiritual, contemplative, and artistic. His presence filled the room, and he will be missed terribly by those that knew and loved him.
