Today we bring you the memory of Mark Lee Linville, of Dacusville, SC. He passed away on October 7, 2016 at Greenville Memorial Hospital with family present. He suffered a massive stroke and died of respiratory failure. He was 58 years old at the time of his death.
He was born in Los Angeles, CA, on October 29, 1957 to the late Rufus Johnson Linville, and Edna Earnestine Mary Alice Landers Linville of Brevard, NC. Mr. Linville had two sons, two daughters and a step-daughter. He is preceded by his first wife Patricia Trimnal Linville.
Mark is survived by his wife of 23 years, Bernice S. Linville of Dacusville, Micheal Finley of Dacusville, Chris Linville of Dacusville, Jenny Couch and husband Jeremy of Pickens, Kayla Linville of Dacusville, Daisy Nicholson Burgan and husband Jacob of Kansas City, MO.
He is also survived by siblings, Robert Linville and wife Brenda of Easley, Deborah Hulsey and husband Bobby of Pickens, Ronald Linville and wife Jennifer of Pennsylvania, plus 5 grandchildren and one grand-dog.
Mark Linville was a part of the Dacusville community attending primary school there and High School at Pickens High School in the early 1970’s. His career has included home remodeling and mobile home set-up contracting. He also was a backyard mechanic, specializing in carburetors. He was a former owner of Rustic Circle Mobile Home Park in Pickens, SC. Mark was an avid gardener, amateur chicken, duck and rabbit farmer. He was well known for his humor, jokes and never met a stranger. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back.
The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 2pm at Wayside Baptist Church in Easley, SC, lead by the Rev. Roger Todd. The church address is 516 Jameson Road Easley, SC near hwy 183 The receiving of friends and family will be at 1pm before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations the the Memorial fund, to help cover final expenses.
