Mark Dwayne Link passed away at his home in Greenville, SC on Thursday April 11th in the year 2019. He was born in Richmond, Indiana and moved to Melbourne, Florida where he joined the military. He was in the Army and part of the 3rd Armored Division. He was stationed in Germany and after settling down and starting a family he decided to leave the service. He then moved to South Carolina where he stayed for the remainder of his life. He was a truck driver by trade and loved his job. He also joined the South Carolina State Guard where he was deployed to New York during 9/11 where he helped people there. He was a father and a grandfather. He was a kind soul and would do anything for anyone. Even though he left the service he never stopped being a soldier. He was strong in this life, he never quit. He lived his life the only way he knew how. And he loved with everything he had.
He will be sadly missed by his family; his daughters; Stacey Link and Nicole Carpenter, and his son; Matthew Link, his grandchildren; Dalton Whitlock, Bentley Whitlock, Caleb Whitlock, Malachi Link, Miles Link, Austin Carpenter, Ashley Carpenter, Audrey Carpenter, his brothers; William Link, Roy Daniel and Mike Link, his sisters; Missy Daniel, Carol Link, Celena Link and Mammie Coffee, his nephews; Marvin Link II, Harold Collins, Wyatt Jones, and his nieces; Amber Jones, Billie Daniel and Robin Daniel.
