Mark Andrew Holcomb

Mark Andrew Holcomb, 23, of Six Mile, SC and Cortland, NY passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at home.  Andrew is the son of Donna McAlister Holcomb of Six Mile, SC and Mark and Sherry Holcomb of Cortland, NY.

Andrew was a 2011 graduate of Cortland Jr/Sr High School in Cortland, NY. He was a kind, caring young man who loved fishing, hiking and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by sisters, Jennifer Stewart of Six Mile, SC and Ashley Lockard of Charleston, SC;  step-brother,  Ryan O’Donnell; and step-sister, Julia Goddard of Cortland, NY; Grandmother, Edith McAlister of Six Mile, SC; Grandparents, Horace and Betty Holcomb of Virgil, NY, nieces; Lauren, Kayla, and Emma of Six Mile, Kiley and Madalin Lockard of Charleston, SC; Aunts, Marlene Roach of Six Mile, SC, and Patricia O’Donnell of Homer, NY; an Uncle, James Holcomb (Valerie) Holcomb of Homer, NY; Cousins, Cody Roach, Joshua McAlister, Austin, Kevin and Steven Clark, Michael and Matthew Holder all of Six Mile, SC, Kandi Holder of Wilmington, DE, Jennifer Wyant and Joe O’Donnell of Cortland, NY, and Tyler and Nick Holcomb of Homer, NY.

Andrew is predeceased by his Grandfather, Charles McAlister; Aunts, Patricia Manley and Pamela Clark; and cousin, Justin Roach.

A memorial service for Andrew was held at New Beginnings Baptist Church, Six Mile, SC, on Monday, November 30, 2015.
