Marion Smith Kirby

On November 11, 2022, Marion Smith Kirby, went home to be with the Lord. Born June 14, 1942, in Pacolet, SC, to the late John Smith Kirby and Virginia Lawrence. He is survived by his wife Shirley and five beloved children, Rita Jones (Jimmy) of Columbia, SC, Tammy Zimmerman (David) of Virginia, John Marion Kirby of Greer, SC, Jerid Beem (Scott) of Mexico, Douglas Beem of Greer, SC; Two sisters, Sharon Newton of Taylors, SC, Ann Greenway of Lyman, SC; One brother, Jeff Kirby of Lyman, SC; Nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2 PM, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, in Taylors, SC, by Pastor Gary Greer and Sam Bennett.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC.
