Marie Evans Sharp

Marie Evans Sharp loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 14th after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.  She was predeceased in death by her daughter Deborah Marie Loxton, brother Leon Evans Jr.,  and her husband of 62 years, William Henry Sharp III.  She was retired from the Greenville County Schools Food Service Department in 2004. Marie was a member of Mauldin UMC since 1984.



She leaves behind daughters Linda Marie and her husband John Niles, Cynthia Marie and her husband William Schneider, and son William H. Sharp IV and wife Leigh.  Also surviving are sisters Betty Evans Miglianico and husband Tony of Mauldin S.C. , and Jean Evans Keehler of Carterville, Ill.,12 grand children, and 17 great grandchildren.



There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life on Sunday July 26th at 3:00pm in the sanctuary of Mauldin United Methodist Church.  Family will receive visitors before the service in the Son Room at 2:00pm.



In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to Meals on Wheels or the Alzheimers Association.
