Marian Elizabeth Sexton

Marian Elizabeth Sexton, of Marietta passed away January 30, 2016 following a long term illness.  Born in Greenville, SC she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bishop. She was predeceased by her husband Jim L. Sexton.

Survivors include her daughters; Robin Barron of Marietta, Kimberly (Brian) Plowden of Pelzer, Grandchildren: Jimmy, Lawrence, and Buddy Barron, Brian Sexton, Brianna Sexton, Brandon Plowden, and BJ Ordonez, Great Grand Children: Stephanie and Kylie Barron, Grayson Redding, Johnathon Lell, Marcella Ordonez, Bubba Chafin, one sister and her best friend; Susan Hall of Greenville she was predeceased by one brother, Robert Bishop.

Mrs. Sexton retired from Furman Dining Hall after 21 years of service she was a homemaker and a wonderful Mama and Nanny she was of the Baptist Faith.

Memorial Services will be held noon Tomorrow February 2, 2016 at Renfrew Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Shawn O’Shields.  The family would like to thank the Nurses and CNA’s on the 200 Wing with special mention of Ms. Florence and Ms. Katrina at Heartland and also Heartland Hospice.
