Marian Allen

Marian (with an "A") Allen, 93, crossed the Jordan on March 23, 2015. Born December 6, 1921 to Inez and Andrew LaTourette of Flemington, NJ where she lived until graduating from high school. She married Robert Allen in June of 1940.



Following her husband's death in 1987 she relocated to SC in 1992. She was a founding member of the Alley Cats Line Dance Group, and she was an active choir member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. She loved traveling which took her to many exotic places on three continents.



She is survived by her children Robert Allen Jr., and Tina Nemeth of Quakertown, PA, Pamela Bauer, Andrea & Lee Gordon of Taylors, SC. Five grandchildren Cassandra & Jack Moriorty, Liese' & Lee Leonard of Memphis TN, Jenny & Scott Putnam of Colorado Springs CO, Monica & Larry Conn of Greenville, and  Robert & Heather Gordon of Greer, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.



A memorial service will be held at Francis Asbury on E. North St. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 am.
