Mrs. Margaret Rothenhoefer Woltman

Greer--Mrs. Margaret Rothenhoefer Woltman, 82, passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at The Pearl at Five Forks, Simpsonville, SC. Born May 1, 1940, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Carl Lewis and Josephine (Barnette) Rothenhoefer, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James P., Thomas, David M. Rothenhoefer, and sister, Ann Hayes. Margaret is survived by her husband Jerome (Jerry) Woltman; Their daughters, Bridget Carey (Dave) of Newberry, Shelly Thompson (Shannon) of Simpsonville, SC, her grandchildren Hannah and Carson Carey and her nieces/nephews; Ellen Hayes Vera, Susan Oldegies, Joe Hayes, Carl Lewis Rothenhoefer, and Michael Rothenhoefer. She was named "Grandma
Kitty"; by her grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
Margaret worked at the Bi-Lo Pharmacy as a tech for many years and loved to spend time with her
husband frequenting local restaurants where she made friends with everyone she met. Margaret will be
missed by those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers the family request making a donation in Mom’s memory to your favorite charity.
A gathering will be announced at a later date to commemorate her life.
