Lynnette Marie Chevalier, 62, of Greenville, SC, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Lynnette, affectionately known as “Aunt Nettie” to many, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She shared over 40 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Tim. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around their faith in God, love for each other and family, and cherished memories of times spent together.

She was the proud mother of Alana (Joe) Frank and Dustan (Elizabeth) Chevalier and the adored grandmother of Tanner and Jackson Frank, as well as Orlando and Geneva Chevalier. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found immense joy in being their “Netta.”

Lynnette is survived by her mother, Muriel Murr, her siblings, Leilani (Joe) Mortland, Rick (Kelly) Murr, and Randy (Jami) Murr. She was a caring sister who enjoyed planning gatherings to bring her family together.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Darlene Bingham, her father Richard Murr, and her nephew Ryan Mortland. 

Known for her selfless and gentle spirit and ability to bring people together, she offered encouragement and displayed love and humility to everyone in her life. She didn’t have an easy life, but handled trials with abundant grace and faith and never complained. Lynnette touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of her life will be held at Hampton Park Baptist Church on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1:00p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Benevolence fund at Hampton Park Baptist Church.
