Lynn Holdsworth, a longtime resident of the Greenville area, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 18th.
Born on August 20th, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA to Thomas Earle Parncutt and Gladys Betty Parncutt (nee Davison,) Lynn was educated in Philadelphia and New Jersey schools then pursued a degree in Business Management at Rutgers University. She worked in various areas of business management. After retirement Lynn enjoyed homemaking, caring for her pets and houseplants, and doing various hand crafts.
Lynn and her husband traveled and camped in at least 41 different states. She loved animals and nature. Raising sheep, spinning and dying wool, knitting and crocheting, and sewing items for her family were Lynn’s creative joys. As an avid reader, Lynn accumulated an extensive collection of books. Lynn had a strong faith in God lived out in her Catholic Faith, an eye for artistic beauty and a great sense of humor.
Lynn is survived by her son Jim Holdsworth and his spouse Frank Blake of Piedmont, SC, a sister Kim Parncutt of Buffalo, WY, cousins of Philadelphia and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Westville Funerals and Cremations, 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611 have been entrusted with arrangements. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of Westville Funeral Home.
