Luther Ira "Buddy" Smith

Luther Ira "Buddy" Smith, 82, of 509 Tripp Rd, Piedmont, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 22, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Martha Tannery Smith.
Mr. Smith was born in Greenville to the late Luther Alvin "L.A." Smith and Nina Louise Browning Smith. He was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Joseph Marty Smith (Amanda) of Piedmont, John Russell Smith of Piedmont, and Charles Luther Smith of Piedmont; two grandchildren, A.J. Smith (Jessica) and Sadrina Coggins; two great-grandchildren, Dillion Bridges and Bella Smith; a brother P.J. Smith (Brenda) and sister Sherriell Fowler.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Truth Missionary Baptist Church.
The family is at the residence.
