Lucille Loraine Lambert (Boso)
Greer, South Carolina – Lucille Loraine Lambert passed away suddenly on January 4, 2019 just 20 days shy of her 92nd birthday. A West Virginia native Lucille was born on January 24, 1927 in Shinston, WV. To the late Parmy Guy and Mildred Jessie Boso.
Luloraine ( Lucille’s nickname) was a 1945 Graduate of Parkersburg High School, a graduate of Mountain State Business College in Parkersburg, WV and West Virginia University. She attended several other colleges in her life as she was always continuing her pursuit of education because of her love for learning. Luloraine has worked as a Legal Secretary, Office Managers and various business office positions. She and her husband owned several businesses: A food brokerage business, Gems of West Virginia and most recent, a Bed and Breakfast called the Apple Orchard Country Inn located in Taccoa, Georgia. Lucille’s creative style included several published articles, many beautiful paintings, gourmet cooking, decorating and many different crafts. There is probably not a craft untouched by her.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wade Moore Lambert, a son James Howard Chancey (Linda) of Plant City, Florida, a daughter Cynthia Hirons (Jerry) of Muncie, Indiana, A stepdaughter Melody Fortune (Vince) of Yorktown, Virginia, a stepson Sidney Lambert of Pascagoula, Mississippi. Lucille is also survived in death by her brother, Paul Richard Boso (MaryLou) of Bradenton, Florida. Lucille has 7 surviving grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, Parmy and Mildred Boso and her brother Jim Boso and his wife Betty Boso. Lucille was an avid donor and supporter of animal shelters and animal rescues. An animal lover, Lucille had animals in her house throughout her life.
Lucille Lambert was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed greatly and leaves an emptiness in all of us who knew her. We Love You Luloraine, Lucille, Lucia, Mom, Mommy, Grandma, G-Cille. Rest in eternal peace.
