Loyce Jannette Coker

Loyce Jannette Coker, 84, passed away on January 2nd , 2023. She was the beloved wife of Joe Klostar Coker who predeceased her. Jannette was born on May 26, 1938 in Dallas, Texas and was the daughter of Faye Herndon Elsey and Robert Carl Elsey. She was the former owner of J’s Boutique and Bridal in Easley,
SC. You may have known her as Mom, Nette, as an Aunt or friend; regardless of how you knew Jannette, she was a kind, gentle, and generous woman. She had a heart for others, not just her family but for strangers as well.

Janette is survived by three children: Robert Ned Coker and his wife, Donna, of Dallas, TX, Jennifer Fae Maltarp, and Ronald Joe Coker of Moore, SC; two sisters, Carole Sue Derden and her husband, Max, of Hamilton, TX and Barbara Jane Isaacson of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren: Jannette Nicole Maltarp, Haven Victoria Grier (Harper), Meredith Reid Howarth (Brandon), Jordan Edward Coker, and Grayson Robert Coker. She is also survived by her great grandchild, David Lionel Howarth. She was predeceased by her twin sister Annette Elsey Dodd (Glen) and sister Donna Fae Stringfellow.
A private memorial service was held by the family.
