Louis William Flynt, 88, passed away on February 5, 2019 in Greenville, South Carolina. He was born on January 15, 1931 in Rochester, New York.
Lou worked as a purchasing agent at Kodak and was in the Naval Reserves for 23 years serving as a pilot during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He liked to work with wood, building furniture and custom-made wooden pens. He married Pat. Together they raised six children and still found time for square dancing.
Lou is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia J Flynt, their six children, Deborah Carrow, Theresa Boutotte, Thomas Flynt, Richard Flynt, Virginia Powell and John Flynt, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. His life was blessed with family. He will be missed.
Services to remember and honor Lou’s life will be held at the Dolly Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery in Anderson, South Carolina on Monday, February 11th at 3:00 pm.
