Louis Malcomb Fennell

Louis Malcomb Fennell, age 71, of Marietta, SC, devoted husband to Brenda Swain Fennell for 30 years, joined his sweet Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Born July 11, 1951, in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Louis Tillman Fennell and Louise Cantrell Fennell.

He adored his family, especially his grandchildren that he affectionally called “his boys.” He loved working with horses, enjoyed hunting and fishing, was passionate about the South Carolina Gamecocks, and was known to show out barefoot water skiing on Lake Hartwell. Despite enduring adversity and hardships, Malcomb exhibited joy and love throughout his life. He loved to laugh and enjoyed teasing his friends and family. He was a faithful member of Cleveland First Baptist Church.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son, Michael Timothy Fennell (Catherine); grandsons, Mason, Kash, Kingston, and Kreed Fennel; sister, Betty Fennell Foster (Johnny); brother, Louis T. Fennell, Jr. (Susan); many loving nieces and nephews; and special family, Ricky, Patricia, and Josh Mealor.

A memorial service will be at Cleveland First Baptist Church Saturday, January 7, 2023. Visitation will be at 11:00 AM, and the service at Noon. The family will be at the home. Special thanks to Terri and Scott Garrett for exceptional around the clock care during this difficult time.
