Loretta Harden Smith

Loretta Harden Smith, 75, of Walhalla, SC passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 9, 2021. Born on March 12, 1946, Loretta was a 1964 graduate of Walhalla High School. She was a retired Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Walhalla. Loretta loved God, her family, the beach, and relaxing by her pool.
Loretta is survived by her daughter Holli Kelley Murphy of Walhalla, son Channing Paul Smith (Jennifer) of Charleston, sister Annette Harden Smith (Frank) of Spartanburg, brother Roger Dale Harden (Barbara) of Massachusetts. Loretta also had three grandchildren- Gracin, Channing Jr., and Sam, who she adored. Loretta is predeceased by her father, John Louis Harden, her mother, Edna Belle Rowland, and brothers Henry Harrison Harden and John William Mitchell Jr. (Charlie).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 21 at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Walhalla, SC at 11 am. The family requests that you join them in fellowship following the ceremony.
