Lonnie Dean Pirkle Sr

Lonnie Dean Pirkle, Sr., husband of Jane Robinson Pirkle, died on December 4, 2019. Born in Greenville County, he was
the son of the late Lowell and Helen Pirkle.
He was the owner and operator of Lonnie Pirkle Painting since 1992. In his younger years, Lonnie raced all around the
south eastern US. He was known as “The Pirk-o-lator” and “Snake Bit” at Greenville Pickens Speedway.
Lonnie was predeceased by his parents, Lowell and Helen Pirkle and his sister, Linda Pirkle. Surviving in addition to his
wife, Jane Pirkle, are his daughter, Cheryl Pirkle Walker, his sons, Lonnie D Pirkle Jr. and Brian Deyton (Valerie),
grandchildren, Joshua Walker (Nikki), Bryce Deyton, Kathryn Deyton, and Emma Deyton, great-grandchildren, Ethan
Boone, Xavier Walker and Atlas Walker.
In honor of Lonnie, we ask that everyone come to cheer him on as he has made his final victory lap.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Velocity Church, 1720 Reid School Road, Taylors, SC.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm at Velocity Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Velocity Church.
