Lisa Denise Stuart

December 7, 1965 — August 17, 2024

Simpsonville, SC

Lisa Denise Stuart, a beacon of kindness and warmth, passed away peacefully at her home on August 17, 2024. Born in Greenwood, SC, Lisa's life was a testament to love, friendship, and the simple joys that make a life well-lived.

Lisa's journey began as the cherished daughter of Pete Smith and the late Donna Dill, and she was lovingly raised with the support of her stepmother, Judy, of Laurens, SC. Her early years were filled with the laughter and learning that would shape the wonderful woman she would become.

Professionally, Lisa dedicated many years as a bookkeeper, meticulously managing accounts for businesses in the insurance and food industries. Her colleagues knew her as a reliable and friendly presence, someone who brought not just her skills but her heart to the workplace every day.

At home, Lisa's life was anchored by her beloved husband, Chad Stuart. Together, they created a world filled with mutual respect, support, and endless love. Their bond was a guiding light for their daughters, Kasey (Joseph) Schroer of Columbia, SC, and Jessica (Kevin) Springer of Simpsonville, SC, who will forever cherish the lessons of compassion and strength their mother instilled in them.

Lisa's family circle extended to her brother, Shawn (Jene) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, SC, who shared in the countless memories that paint the picture of a life rich with connection. Her in-laws, Steve and Gail Stuart of Simpsonville, SC, and their daughter Pam (Richard) Reece, along with Jack and Marley Reece of Mauldin, SC, were more than relatives; they were integral threads in the fabric of her life.

Lisa's essence was one of perpetual kindness. To know her was to experience an unwavering friendliness that made everyone around her feel valued and loved. Her spirit was gentle, her demeanor always sweet to others, and her presence was a comfort to all who had the privilege of crossing her path.

An avid animal lover, Lisa found joy in the company of her furry friends. Her compassion extended to all creatures, great and small, and her pets knew the warmth of her love and the tenderness of her care.

Lisa's life was a living example of the words that best described her: loving, kind, and friendly. She was a light in the lives of her family, a cherished friend to many, and a kind soul to those in need of one.

As we bid farewell to Lisa Denise Stuart, we celebrate the remarkable life she led and the countless hearts she touched. Her memory will live on as a reminder of the beauty that can be found in a life lived with love at its center. Though she has left this earthly realm, the essence of who she was—a beautiful and loving soul—will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
