Linda June Trawick, 82, of Brookstone Terrace of Woodruff, S.C., died Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. Born March 31. 1938 in Sandoval, Illinois, Linda was the only daughter of the late Asa E. and Thelma Craig Jackson. A former resident of Spartanburg, SC, Linda was a member of North Spartanburg Church of God. Linda loved her church family, loved to sing Gospel music, talk and testify of God's Goodness and Mercy, work jigsaw puzzles, crochet baby blankets to give away, and help others less fortunate than her. Linda graduated from Centralia Township High School in Centralia, Illinois. She also attended Amarillo Junior College before graduating from The Northwest Texas School of Nursing in Amarillo, Texas as a Registered Nurse in 1971. Linda worked in hospitals in Alabama, Wyoming, Texas, and Illinois before retiring from Mary Black Memorial Hospital in 2003 after 31 years of Nursing Service. Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Rodgers (Brandon) of Howardwick, Texas; brother, Paul Jackson (Karole) of Salem, Illinois, and special caregivers, Judy C. Poteat and Marcia Shirley. Linda was predeceased by her husband Hugh O'Brian Trawick, daughter, Karen Denise Boatman, and granddaughter, Rachel Denise Hawkins. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
