Linda Mae Cox

Linda Mae Cox, a beacon of love and friendship, passed away on December 19, 2024, due to an unforeseen accident. Born on November 3, 1945, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Linda's warm spirit and faith-filled heart touched all who knew her. Her final days were spent in Piedmont, South Carolina, where she continued to spread joy and kindness until her last moments.

Linda, the cherished daughter of the late Allen and Maxine Cox, grew up in a home filled with love and laughter. She was a proud graduate of her local high school, where she formed bonds that lasted a lifetime. Linda's brothers, David and Glenn Cox, and her nieces, Nicole Peacock, Jessica Ewanis, Heather Strickland, and Jamie Cox, will fondly remember her as a sister and an aunt who brought light into their lives, while her sisters in heart and life, Carolyn McKinney, Darlene Stoddard, and Janice Marbert, will miss the unwavering support and friendship she provided. 

Linda's interests were simple yet filled with joy. She relished going out to eat, indulging in the pleasure of good food and great company. Television provided her with endless entertainment, while shopping was a delightful pastime that she enjoyed thoroughly. Above all, visiting friends was her favorite activity, as it allowed her to nurture the bonds she held so dear.

Those who knew Linda will remember her as the epitome of loving and friendly, with a faith that shone brightly through her actions and words. Her presence was a gift to all, and her absence will leave a void that cannot be filled.
